The Kings River is known for it's small mouth bass fishing. Other species of fish abundant in the river are Spotted Bass, Spotted Gar, Channel Catfish, Ozark Bass, Longear Sunfish, and Green Sunfish.
Spencer Tooley, who is a Licensed Fishing Guide, and specializes in catching Smallmouth Bass will be providing guided services for us this season. He prides himself in educating customers about the river, the species that inhabit the environment, and the art of using different techniques/ styles to catch trophy fish. Spencer has a passion for fishing and teaching others about the creeks and rivers in our environment. He has been chasing Smallmouth bass on numerous waterways for 10+ years. His experiences include Ozark Streams, such as, the Buffalo National River, Crooked Creek, the Kings, Illinois, Mulberry, and White River. The Fishing Regulations are listed below; however, from Trigger Gap to the 62 Bridge is designated as a "trophy section." On this section of the river, the smallmouth daily limit is One and Must be at least 18 inches long. To help increase the size and quantity of large trophy bass, Catch and Release is recommended on this section.
